This plein air painting was created just outside of Bozeman, Montana on a solo trip that I took a few years ago. I stayed at a ranch surrounded by animals and mountains, and I created this painting sitting on the front porch of the cabin.

This plein air piece was created using watercolor paints and ink on hot press watercolor paper with deckle edges.
